We woke the boys up Christmas eve around 10pm. I have to say, none of them were real impressed with that idea! They wanted to go back to bed. But we had to serve at midnight mass, so we didn't have a choice. We had already dressed the boys in their cloths before putting them to bed earlier, so it was just a matter of dragging them out of bed and putting coats and shoes on. Then off to Church. We got the kids there, but I think they managed to sleep through most of the service. Oh well, we chose not to pick that battle. The choir did a half hour of singing before mass started, and half way through that, Cody looked up at me and said, "Mom this is AWESOME!!" Too cute. That's the spirit Cody! :)
When we got home we let the kids (who by now where WIDE awake!) open one present. They opened PJ's that they could wear that night. It was about 2 in the morning and they weren't even close to being tired and wanting to go to bed, but Santa still had to come, so off they went.
