On a lighter note...

Bryce and Cody had their first soccer game today!! Bryce even scored a goal! They have a lot to learn, but they love playing. Last week there were no practices either, due to bad weather and the Monday holiday. So they played the game after a week of no practice. So they didn't do too bad all things considered. It was nice, the coach gets to stay on the field with them to help them with their positions. He is really working with them to teach them where they should stand and where their zones are so they don't just all run after the ball all the time. He is actually "teaching" them soccer verses them just playing what they think soccer is. Trust me there is a difference. The other team didn't seem to have the same goal, so their whole team was in front of the goal at one point which worked well for them, but wasn't how they were supposed to be playing. It's also nice that they don't keep score yet, they focus more on the aspect of the kids learning how to play accurately then winning. I really like that approach.
